YB Series Pedestrian Barrier
A barrier system that physically separates pedestrian and vehicle traffic, improving pedestrian safety at crossing points and along walkways.
Clear visual separation
Standard safety orange/yellow creates a clear boundary between pedestrian and vehicle zones.
Flexible recovery
Returns to its original shape after light contact without permanent damage.
Low maintenance
A simple modular structure that allows fast maintenance and part replacement.
Modular length
Extendable by adding modules to match the length of the route.
Applications
Where it's used
Pedestrian crossings and sidewalk edges
Warehouse walkways
Personnel corridors on production floors
Pedestrian/vehicle separation in parking areas
Perimeters of waiting/assembly areas
Service road edges
Engineering Approach
Why it's designed this way
01 — Risk
One of the most common risk points: where pedestrians and vehicles meet
Every point where pedestrians and vehicles share a route carries risk in a moment of inattention. A painted floor line is a warning, but provides no physical resistance — a physical separation is the one layer that still works when that warning is ignored.
02 — Visibility
The barrier is also a warning element
Standard safety orange/yellow improves visibility in low-light aisles and in peripheral vision. Color choice here is not aesthetic — it's a direct safety decision.
03 — Design logic
Continuity matters as much as protection
A gap in the separation partway along a route exposes the pedestrian to vehicle traffic again at the point where it feels safest. Modular length can be extended to cover the entire route without interruption.
04 — Our approach
A route-specific decision, not a standard part
Which module goes where, and at what length, is determined through our same 5-step engineering process (design, calculation, procurement, installation, commissioning) following a site survey and pedestrian/vehicle flow assessment.
